Funeral services for Rodger D. Causey, 64, of
Leesville will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 10 at the First United Methodist Church in Leesville, with Rev. Hank Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Aug. 9 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services on Aug. 10 at the church.
Rodger, the son of Huey P. and Betty Danzy Causey was
born March 6, 1949, in Leesville. He passed away Aug. 7, 2013 at his residence in Leesville.
Rodger graduated from Leesville High School in 1967 and attended Northwestern College. He coached at Leesville Junior High School and Leesville
High School for many years, and touched the lives of many young people throughout Vernon Parish. His passions in life where golf, football and his country. He attended First United Methodist Church in Leesville.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Huey P. Causey.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Causey of Leesville; daughter, Denise Causey of Portland, Ore.; stepchildren, Dan Willson of Shreveport and Patricia Willson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; mother, Betty Causey of
Leesville; sisters, Brenda Skaggs and husband, John of San Antonio, Texas, and Linda Williams and husband James of Leesville; grandchildren, Caitlin Willson and Lauren Willson, both of Shreveport; and niece, Amy Williams of Leesville.
