Funeral services for Robert Lee Smith, 55, of
Leesville will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 4 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Carl Clark officiating, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Aug.
3, and will continue from noon until the time of services on Aug. 4 in the chapel.
Robert, the son of Velma Smith and Fisher Green, was born March 2, 1958, in Leesville. He passed away July 31, 2013.
He was preceded in death by
his parents and siblings, Willie”Bill” Buckley, John Thomas Buckley, Willie Ray Buckley and Josie Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Christa Martha Asmus Smith of Leesville; sisters, Thelma Brock, Carolyn Henderson, Zella Smith and
husband, Donnie Smith, Lucille Simmons, and Loretta Smith all of Leesville; brothers, Donnie Maxie of DeRidder, and Elbert Smith and Alex Smith both of Leesville; stepbrothers and sisters, Ruby Green, Fransis Green and Pearl Edwards all of Leesville,
and Floyd Green of Newton, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
