Services celebrating the life of Patricia S.
Powell Pogue, 50, of Leesville, will be held at 1 p.m. on July 29 in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services on July 29 at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.
Patricia was
born Nov. 30, 1962 in Germany to James and Angela Vogel Simmons. Patricia passed from this life on July 25, 2013. Patricia was of the Catholic faith. She loved her family and traveling. Patricia was a “die hard Saints fan.” She was employed at Fort
Polk with the federal government for 24 years. She loved her two Rottweilers. “Sassy and Holly.”
Patricia is preceded in death by her father, James Simmons; and aunt, Elizabeth Vogel.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert
Pogue of Leesville; mother, Angela Simmons of Shreveport; daughters, Jennifer Campbell (Michael) of Anacoco, Debra Ann Lewis of Belton, TX, Eive JoAnn Daniels (Jack) of Huntsville, TX, Sandra Dee Thurston (Paul) of Cadiz, KY, and Tina Johns (Stephen)
of Midland, Texas; and grandchildren, Kaylee and Madison Midkiff of Anacoco.
