Winter Nicole Airhart

Funeral services for Winter Nicole Airhart will be
held at 2 p.m. on July 16 in the First Baptist Church of Anacoco with Revs. D.R. Davis, Buddy Airhart and Wilke Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. on July 15 until the time of services on July 16 in the church.
Winter was born on Sept. 12, 1995 in Pasadena, Texas. She passed away on July 13, 2013 in Many.
She was
to be a senior at Hornbeck High School in the fall of this year, where she was on the staff of the school newspaper. Winter was a girl who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She absolutely loved fishing with her paw paw. She loved
music and singing.
Winter was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Billy and Carol Airhart.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Barbie and Jason Rogers of Many; father, Billy “Peanut” Airhart and his
fiancee, Beverly Eagle of Hornbeck; sister, Valerie Airhart of Kansas City, Mo.; two stepsisters, Karlie Rogers of Many, and Andrea Cortez of Kansas City, Mo.; two stepbrothers, Dustin Rogers of Many and Jacob Rogers of Natchitoches; maternal
grandparents, Pete and Pat Dowden of Anacoco; her boyfriend, Joe Formby of Hornbeck; special friends, Miranda Lewis and Skyler Jett of Anacoco; aunts and uncles, Bryan Dowden, Bob and Brenda Kreyenbuhl, William “Buddy” and Cindy Airhart, Greg and
Sissy Wanjura, James and Shelly Airhart, Johnny and Joyce Airhart, Brian and Candy Studdard, and Melissa Airhart; and a host of cousins, and other family and friends.
