Memorial services honoring the life of Rosita Kotre Gray were held at 6
p.m. on June 13 in the chapel of Jeane’s Funeral Service of Leesville with Rev. Hoy Leach officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
Visitation begin from 2-6 p.m. on June 13, then resumed until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Gray, 79,
passed away on June 11, 2013 at her residence. She was a native of Yugoslavia, and in 1956, met and married the love of her life, Dean Gray in Germany. Becoming a military wife, they moved to Colorado then back to Germany and, in 1962, moved to
Leesville, where she was a homemaker, raising her children, being a grandmother and working in her garden and flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Gray; and parents, brothers and sisters.
She is survived
by two sons, Otto Gray of Leesville, and Gary Dean Gray and wife Valerie of Toro; daughter, Karen Gray of Corpus Christi, Texas; three grandchildren, Shannon Leahanne Keevan, Claire Elizabeth Rose Grant, and Jessica Lynn Gray; and one
great-granddaughter, Sophia Isabella Keevan.
