Joseph Columbus Bailey, Sr., 81, of Providence, passed away June 11, 2013,
at his home. A funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. on June 14 at Providence Baptist Church with Revs. Arlen Smith and Don Robinson presiding. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery. Visitation took place beginning at 11 a.m. on June 13, and
will be held rom 9 a.m. until time of service on June 14 at Providence Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva C. Bailey of Providence; one daughter, Debora Campbell and James of Haughton; three sons, Joseph Columbus Bailey,
Jr., and Judith of Doyline, Billy J. Weekley and Ashley of Providence, and James L. Weekley and Becky of Providence; seven grandchildren, Vickie Lynn Echols, Jessica Ann Bailey, Joseph Columbus Bailey, III and Amanda, Peyton Weekley, Drew Weekley,
Amanda Wilson and Teresa Wilson; one great-grandson, Joseph Columbus Bailey, IV; and one sister, Glenda Friesland, of Providence.
