Funeral services for Muriel I. Cochran Ryan, 74, of Uncertain, Texas will
be held at 2 p.m. on June 12 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Rev. Huey Haymon officiating.
Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation
will be held from 5-8 p.m. on June 11, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services on June 12 in the church.
Muriel, the daughter of Jimmy Hoy and Audrey Rena Erwin Morrison was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Leesville. She passed away June 8,
2013 in Marshall, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Audrey Morrison; brother, Dennis D. Morrison; grandson, Christopher Cochran and daughter-in-law, Sheila Cochran.
Mrs. Muriel worked for Lyondell Citgo
Refinery in Pasadena, Texas as a fireman and security officer for 20 years.
She was a member of Church of Uncertain, in Uncertain, Texas. She loved to read, garden, travel, and Christmas.
She is survived by her husband 15
years, Jimmy Ryan of Uncertain, Texas; sons, Thomas E. “Tommy” Cochran of Evans, Kenneth T. Cochran, Sr., and wife, Cindy of Anacoco, Jimmy R. Cochran and wife, Bonita of Anacoco, Terry W. Cochran of Lake Charles, and Aarron D. Cochran of Anacoco;
stepson, Matt Ryan and wife, Barbara of The Woodlands, Texas; stepdaughter, Toinette Ryan McDaniel and husband, Joel of Boaz, Ala.; brothers, Evenvard Morrison of Texas and Aaron Gale Morrison of Merryville; sisters, Gwen Hyatt and husband, Gerald of
Hornbeck, and Kayla Park and husband, Tommy of Leesville; grandchildren, Charles Cochran, Casey Cochran and wife, Jessica, Tammi Stafford and husband, Jon, Brittney Welch and husband Shawn, Kenneth Cochran, Jr., and fiancé, Rayne, Ashley Hillman and
husband, Timothy, Amanda Branning and husband, Alex, Kevin Cochran, Marcus Cochran and Andrew Cochran and 15 great-grandchildren.
