A memorial service for Christopher Cooper will be held at 5 p.m. on June 8
at 4069 Bailey Road in Leesville, with Bruce Austin officiating, and Gary Johnson speaking.
Christopher Cooper, 33, passed away on May 24, 2013 at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.
Christopher was born March 14, 1980 in Wurzburg,
Germany to Bill and Darlene Cooper.
Christopher enjoyed fishing, hunting, cookouts, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty McDowell, Edward McDowell, Shirley Cooper and
Billy D. Cooper; his aunt, Sally Illis and uncle, Dennis Cooper.
Survivors include his son, Jordan Cooper of Rosepine, and daughter, Hailee Cooper of Georgia; parents, Bill and Darlene Cooper of Leesville; brother, Justin Cooper and wife
Cassie of Pitkin; sister, Kerrie Cooper Geeo and husband Timothy of Leesville; nephews, Colton Geeo and Boston Cooper; aunts, Dorothy Figlio and husband Greg of Shreveport; Bobby Sillivan and husband Alan, Charlene McDowell of Pineville, Cindy
Strobehn of Mount Angel, Ore., Karla Cooper of Vancouver, Wash., and Shiryl Bean of Woodburn, Ore.; uncles, Danny McDowell and wife Theresa of Pineville and Gary Cooper of Clackamas, Ore.
Christopher is also survived by numerous cousins.
He will be missed by numerous friends and family members.
