Roger Gill McDonald, 62, of LaSalle, passed away on May 11, 2013. He was
born on Oct. 8, 1950 in Leesville, to the late Gill Roy and Loraine Hall McDonald. He was in construction with Brown and Root, and a medical lab technician with Port Lavaca Hospital. He was a member of Vanderbilt Baptist Church.
Survivors
include his wife, Gwen McDonald; daughter, Susan L. McDonald of Austin; son, Roger G. McDonald, Jr. of Hallettsville; sisters, Doris Jeane of Bossier City, and Brenda Brannon of Bossier City; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by his parents and sister, Sharon McDonald.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on May 13 at the Vanderbilt Baptist Church, with burial to be held at 3 p.m. on May 14 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Slagle.
Pallbearers will be Jeramaie Thomas, Thomas Saldivar, Gabe Wilson, Rodney Horton, Mark James and Pat Stuart.
