Services for Jerry Wayne Phillips, 54, will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013
at 2 p.m. at Oak Forest Baptist Church in Leesville, LA. Bro. Joe Call will be officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Dustin, Andrew, Billy, Terry, Larry and Bobby; Honorary pallbearer will be Rodney.
Burial will follow in Oak
Forest Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and then again from 9:00 AM until time of services at 2:00 PM at Oak Forest
Baptist Church.
Jerry was born November 9, 1958, to James and Minnie Phillips in Leesville, LA and passed from this life on February 25, 2013 in Gray, LA.
Jerry attended Oak Forest Baptist Church. He was very mechanically
minded and also loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved his children very much.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents James Earl Phillips and Minnie Marie Grimes Phillips.
Jerry is survived by sons,
Andrew Hearn and Alycia of Leesville, Dustin Phillips of Leesville, Benjamin Phillips of Leesville; daughters, Amber Dantin and Stephen of Cutoff, LA, Laurie Lirette and Terry of Theriot, LA, Brittany Phillips of Cutoff, LA, Isabella Phillips of
Leesville; sisters, Frances Lasseigne and Terry of Gray, LA, Martha Toothman and Rodney of Port Allen, LA, Jimmie Dowden of Gillette, WY, Wesley Lane of Evans, LA; brother, David Phillips and Susie of Hornbeck, LA.; grandchildren, John Thomas David
Hearn, Kaylee, Todd, Jr., Khloe’ and Gracie Griffin, Brennan and Lerin Lirette, Marley and Jeremiah Billiot.
