Graveside services for Mrs. Norma Chance Kerr, 79, of Houston, Texas will be held at 11 am on Feb. 9, 2013 in the McInnis Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Norma, the daughter
of Hoyt and Myrtie McInnis Chance, was born March 27, 1933 in Mansfield. She was a graduate of Leesville High School, where her senior year, she was elected as the Homecoming Queen. After school she married her husband, Howard, and moved to Houston,
Texas. She worked for 45 years for the Kaplan Family in Houston as an office manager and accountant. Mrs. Kerr passed away on Feb. 5, 2013 at The Methodist Hospital in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, and her
parents.
Mrs. Kerr is survived by her son, Randall Kerr of Houston; one sister, Bobbie Keller of Houston; a host of nieces and nephews and Kerr family members, and many other family and friends.
