Edward Lloyd Quinn

Edward Lloyd “Bud” Quinn, 85, of Leesville passed on Jan. 15, 2013, with
his loving wife at his side.
He was born Nov. 29, 1927, was a native of Nederland, Texas and was a longtime resident of Leesville.
A veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he honorably served his country for a total of 20
years, including service in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. Following his retirement from the military, he continued his dedication to the U.S. Government as a civil service employee for another 20 years.
He leaves behind many cherished
memories, which will be shared by his wife of 37 years, Mabel Quinn; sons, Glen and wife Lynn and Mike Quinn all of Campti; daughters, Dorsey Quinn of Shelbyville, Tenn., Becky Quinn of Houston, and Melanie Quinn of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister, Oneida
and husband Orvis Beard of Nederland, Texas, stepchildren, Vivian, Bud, Bob and wife Marijene, Ro, Lou and husband Jim; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and
Sarah Quinn; his first wife, Dorsey “Susie” Street Quinn; brothers, Louis “LV” and Preston “Peck” Quinn, sister, Opal Quinn Bailey and grandson, Casey Quinn.
He will be greatly missed by countless friends and loved ones.
The
Family will honor him with a private military service.
