Funeral services for Hubert Puckett, Jr. will be at 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 30 at
Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and continue until time of the service.
Hubert Hoover Puckett was born to the late Hubert and Caroline Puckett on Feb. 9, 1933, in Leesville and was the
first living child born to this union. He departed his life on Dec. 23, 2012.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He re-accepted Christ at a later age in his life. He worked as a brick mason
for many years with his father and also farm work and moving and storage. Hubert enjoyed sitting on his porch spending time with friends and family. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Caroline Puckett; and two brothers, Bobby
Puckett and Billy Puckett.
He leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Jimmie Puckett and Marion (Jean) Puckett, both of Leesville; two sisters, Louisa P. Barge Johnson of Leesville and Mary (Eugene) Woodard of Port Arthur, Texas; two
sisters-in-law, Rachel Puckett of Florien and Charity Puckett of Monroe; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
