Frances Yvonne Ihlenfeldt Gordon, 58, of Leesville, passed away Nov. 21,
2012, in Alexandria.
She was born in Dallas on Aug. 10, 1954, the daughter of Samuel Ihlenfeldt and Dorothy (Gribble) Hickman. Yvonne graduated from Leesville High School. She was married to Kenneth A. Gordon. Yvonne was medically retired
from Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital and previously worked at the Leesville Plasma Center as well. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved spending time with her family. ?Yvonne was preceded in death by her grandmother, Beulah B. (Cook) Gribble
of Elm Mott, Texas; her fathers, Sam Ihlenfeldt of Waco, Texas and Bobbie K. Hickman of New Llano; and father-in-law, Melvin E. Gordon of Leesville.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kenneth A. Gordon; mother, Dorothy G. Hickman
of New Llano; mother-in-law, Madge (Trawick) Gordon of Leesville; three brothers, Steve L. (Donna) Ihlenfeldt of Waco, Texas, Darrell G. (Jacki) Ihlenfeldt of Leesville, and Bobby D. Hickman of New Llano; sister-in-law, Joyce (G.W.) Sumney of
Leesville; two children, Melissa Y. (Chad) Koonce of New Llano and Christopher R. Bainer of Leesville; four grandchildren, Brianna J. Cable, Christian J. Cable, Alexis M. Koonce, and Chandler D. Koonce, all of New Llano; and numerous aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for 2-6 p.m. on Nov. 25 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 27, at Aderhold Funeral
Home in West, Texas. Burial will follow at the White Rock Cemetery in Ross, Texas.
