Inez W Lawrence

Funeral services for Inez W. Lawrence, 87, of Leesville will be held at 10
a.m. on Nov. 23 at Cooper Baptist Church in Pickering with the Revs. Edgar Evans, Mark Christian and C. W. Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. on Nov. 21 until service time on Nov. 23
at the church. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Inez, the daughter of John Albert and Evie Wilson, was born on Oct. 18, 1925, in Evans. She passed away on Nov. 20 at the Byrd Regional Hospital
in Leesville.
Mrs. Inez was known as Momma or Maw Maw to everybody. She retired after working as a cook for many years at the Louisiana State School. Maw Maw loved arts and craft, quilting, crocheting and loved cooking for everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, L. C. Lawrence, Sr., and granddaughter Melanie Lawrence.
She is survived by her sons, L. C. Lawrence, Jr. and wife, Jolene of Leesville, Joe R. Lawrence and wife Mary of Anacoco
and Anthony Wayne Lawrence and wife Carla of Leesville; three daughters, Evie Beth Bailey and husband, Kenny of Leesville, Linda Craft and husband, Billy Wayne of Evans and Barbara Inez Mason of Leesville; one brother, H. A. Wilson of Monroe; and 16
grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
