Mickey Lee Carver

Funeral services for Mickey Lee Carver, of Leesville, will be held at 10:00
a.m. on Nov. 14 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. on Nov. 13 until the time of
service on Nov. 14 at the church.
Mickey was born on Sept. 14, 1962, and passed from this life on Nov. 8, 2012. He was 50 years old.
Mickey is survived by his father, Lamon Carver, and stepmother, Beverly Carver, of Leesville;
four brothers, Ricky Carver of Anacoco, Vic “Bit” Carver and wife Carla of Glenwood, Ark., Timmy Carver and wife Kristy of Florien, and Terry Carver of Leesville; one stepsister, Patty Peacock, of Leesville; two daughters, Kristy Carver and Brandy
Carver of Anacoco; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sally Carver, and sister, Cindy Carver.
Mickey was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish and worked as a
firefighter for the Fort Polk Fire Department. He loved to hunt and fish, and had a lifelong passion for music. He truly enjoyed playing his guitar and singing.
He attended and graduated from Leesville High School. He was a member of the
Masonic Fraternity and belonged to the Masonic Lodge of Leesville.
Mickey will be greatly missed as a family member, friend, and companion.
