Funeral services for Mr. Eddard Lee Morrison will be at 10 a.m. on Nov. 2 in Big Hammock Baptist Church in Leander with Rev. Bill Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Hineston under the direction of Rush
Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Mr. Morrison, 88, of Leander, entered eternal rest on Oct. 30, 2012.
Eddard retired from the Forestry Service after 22 years. He was a longtime member of the Dairymen’s Association. He was a member of
the Louisiana Quarter Horse Association and an avid horse breeder. He was also a member of Big Hammock Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Addie Morrison and his parents, Isaac and Carrie Morrison.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sons, Clarence Morrison and his wife, Jimmie Rose, and Alva Lee Morrison and his wife, Bonnie all of Leander; two grandchildren, Thomas Morrison and Kim Rhymes and her husband,
Mark, all of Leander; and two great-grandchildren, Tylee Busby and Carrie Morrison, both of Leander.
Friends may call from 5-10 p.m. on Nov. 1 and from 8-10 a.m. on Nov. 2 at Big Hammock Church in Leander.
