Willie Faye “Jane” Jeane, 83, of Leesville, passed from this life on Oct. 15, 2012.
Willie was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She liked the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, sewing, crocheting and just a little bit of
everything.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, John Dewey Jeane Jr. and James Edgar “Bit” Jeane and wife Brenda Lea, all of Leesville; daughters, Alfa Chaney and husband Jimmy of Leesville, Robbie Jordan and husband Roger
of Burr Ferry, and Melissa Ann Jeane of Leesville; brothers, Louis Jones of Baton Rouge and William H. Jones of Simpson; sisters, Ethel Lanier of Birmingham, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, John Dewey Jeane Sr.; parents, James Thomas and Gladys Lambert Jones; brothers, Kenneth Jones, Thomas Jones and JamesPaul Jones; sisters, Annie Dowden and Ruth Parker; and grandsons, Thomas Jeane and James David Chaney.
Visitation will be held from 5-10 p.m. on Oct. 16 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 17 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Burr Ferry Cemetery in Burr Ferry. Bro.
