Funeral services for Juan Booty will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 12 at
Kisatchie Baptist Church in Kisatchie with Rev. Larry Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at New Kisatchie Cemetery in Kisatchie. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service on Oct. 11 at Kisatchie Baptist Church in
Kisatchie.
Juan Booty, 68, passed away on Oct. 9, 2012. Juan was born on Oct. 3, 1944 to the late Dewey Booty and Ozie Blackwell Booty in Kurthwood. Juan was known as “the best dad in the world,” by his children. He was a tremendous
father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He loved his wife dearly, and valued his family above all. He had a great sense of humor, and a smile that would light up the room. He loved to fish for any kind of fish, and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Juan spent three years of his life serving in the U. S. Army, where he was stationed in Germany and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was a great friend that would help anyone in need, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Booty of Provencal; two sons, Tracy James Wyble, Sr. and his wife Georgianna of Kisatchie, and David Juan Booty, Sr. and wife Carol Ann of Port Neches, Texas; one daughter, Michelle Fridley and husband
Scott of Anacoco; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Gill and husband Jerry of Pineville, and Janice Lewis and husband David of Kisatchie; and one brother, Ronald Dean Booty and wife Peg of Kisatchie.
He was
preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Booty and Ozie Blackwell Booty, and one grandson, Chris Brasher.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be James Wyble, Tracy Wyble, Jr, David Juan Booty, Jr., Ronnie Moss, Chris Booty, and Joe
P. Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bruce Wyble, Dale Wyble, Luke Wyble, and Elijah Burge.
