Funeral services for Brenda K. Trotti, 56, of Evans will be held at 2 p.m.
on Oct. 9 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. George Swain and Rev. Tony Crosier officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 8, and from 8 a.m. until the time of service on Oct. 9 in the funeral home.
Brenda, the daughter of Luther and Earleen Tate Wood, was born Oct. 27, 1955, in New Orleans. She passed away
Oct. 6, 2012 in Lake Charles.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Wood, and her brother, Michael Wood.
Brenda loved arts and crafts and going on retreats with her church, camping and fishing and she especially loved
sitting around the campfires. She also took time to read a good book and work with her flower garden. But the light of her life was her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Doug Trotti of Evans; her sons, Damian and wife Dawn
Milam of Lafayette, and Joshua Trotti of Evans; her daughter, Carrie Speer and husband Cody Brown of Cotile; her mother, Earleen Wood of Lake Charles; brothers, Luther “Bucky” Wood, Jr of Lake Charles and Randall K. Wood of Shreveport; sister,
Patricia Barnhill of Conroe, Texas, and seven grandchildren.
