June Ray passed away Sept. 18, 2012 in her residence in Leesville.
The family requests that friends visit from 4-9 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Heritage Rowe Funeral Home. A funeral service honoring Mrs.
Ray will be held at 2
p.m. on Sept. 21 in the Chapel of Heritage Rowe Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Rowe Memorial Lawn.
Mrs. Ray is preceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ester Ray; husband, David Suire
Sr. and a grandson Charles “Charlie” Emerson III. Family left to cherish her memories are sons, Larry Guillory, David Suire and Dwight Suire; daughters, Jessica Cox, Inez Meshell, Amanda Emerson and Mary Ann Clark; brothers, Don, Bobby and Ronnie
Ray; sisters, Carolyn Johnson, Edna Varnado,
Wanda Crappell and Joan Menard; grandchildren, John Joseph, Brittany, Chelsea, Vivan, L.J., Gage, Courtney, Chelsea B., Quinten, Anna, Tiffiany, Alexis, Emily, Zachary, David III, Steel, Evan,
Hannah, Whitley, Dillin, Shawn-Mikael, Autumn and Jade; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ray’s first hobby was her grandchildren, then watching older movies of life in earlier America and collecting antique glass, spoons and
candles.
