Joseph Cleary, 63, beloved and cherished husband, father, father in-law, grandfather, and friend, passed away in his home, surrounded by family and friends. He was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served his country for over 20 years. He was
employed by Cubic Applications, as Chief of Logistics. He attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church, where he was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Council number 4156. Although he lost his two year battle with cancer, he faced it with the same
characteristics with which he lived his life; courage, dignity, grace, strength, and, most especially, love. His legacy to his wife, children, daughter in-law, grandchildren, and friends is the love that came from the deepest part of his soul; it is
a gift he gave freely and openly, every day of his life. Cancer may have afflicted his physical body, but he had something cancer will never have, a heart of gold. The gift of his love will live on in us all. We love you and will miss you every day
of our lives, but we draw comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain. Rest peacefully and know you are still our strength and guiding force, in your role as our Guardian Angel.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 44 years, Theresa; three
children, Melissa, Kristina, and Marc; daughter in-law, Becca; and five grandchildren, Jude, Gideon, Jones, Maveric, and Milan, as well as numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
