Cynthia “Cindy” Rector
Stracner, 48, of Moss Bluff entered into Heaven on Aug. 9, 2012 from a local hospital.
Mrs. Stracner was born in Crossville, Tenn., raised in Leesville and was a graduate of Leesville High School. She has lived nearly 20 years in Moss
Bluff where she worked as an licensed insurance agent for State Farm Insurance and Larry Bridges Insurance. Mrs. Stracner was a loving wife and mother, as her greatest joy was her three children and two grandchildren. She took great pride in
traveling the country to support her 15-year-old in his sporting events. She was also gifted with a beautiful voice and a passion to sing, as it began as a child in the church choir with her mother.
She leaves to cherish her memory her
devoted husband of 29 years, Charles “Greg” Stracner of Moss Bluff; three children, Candace Nicole Stracner and fiancé Jonathan Anderson and Victoria Holland Stracner, both of Lake Charles, and Charles Jacob Stracner of Moss Bluff; two grandchildren,
Hudson Thomas Anderson of Lake Charles and Aaliyah Jade Rogers of Lake Charles; her parents, mother Jeri French Mayo and husband John of Leesville; father, Arthur L. Rector of Crossville, Tenn.; sister, Crystal Renea Rector of Leesville and many
nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Earl and Laura French; paternal grandparents, Hayden and Georgia Rector, all of Crossville, Tenn.; and brother, Ron Lee Rector.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Mike Paris will officiate. Interment will follow in Colsolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-9 p.m. on Aug. 11 and from 10 a.m. until the
time of service on Aug. 12 at the church.
Pallbearers for the service will be Garrett Powell, Dayton Dugas, Dustin Duhon, Tyler Leviner, Aaron Thierry, Corbin Eldridge, Aaron Averett and Christopher Rector.
