Funeral services for James Julius White, Jr., 51, of Leesville, will be held at noon on July 21 at Johnson Temple Church Of God In Christ with Elder Maurice Johnson and Rev. Joe Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville
Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on July 21 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the church.
James, the son of James Oliver (Sarge) and Mary White, was born August
18, 1960, in Leesville. He passed away on July 10 in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary White; father, James Oliver (Sarge); daughter, Melissa King and sister, Mary Ann Norwood.
He is survived by his
daughter, Kisha Guillory of Lake Charles; four sisters, Bessie Huff of Charlotte, NC, Helen White (Charles Ford) of Leesville, Belender Robinson of Columbia, S.C. and Dorothy Henson (Al Henson) of Clarksville, TN; three brothers, Charles Oliver of
Mobile, AL, and Sam Anderson and Delta Wayne White, both of Leesville; 2 grandchildren, Blair Guillory and Sydney Guillory of Lake Charles; a special friend, Jennifer Miller and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
