Malcom Ray Faircloth

Malcom Ray Faircloth was born in Leesville on Oct. 13, 1948, to Arthur and Rena Faircloth. He passed away on June 29, 2012 in Shreveport. He was a lifelong resident of the Anacoco area. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister,
Margrete Craft; and brothers, Leon, George and Opal, who died in childhood.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Faircloth, of Bossier City; sister, Lorraine (Cookie) Kelly (Dale), of Anacoco; brother, Lewis (Sandra), of Anacoco and
many nieces and nephews.
After high school at Anacoco, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Vietnam veteran with an honorable discharge. He was employed by the state of Louisiana, retiring from the Sabine River
Authority.
Services will be held at noon on July 9 with military honors at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Bro. Al Van Dyke will preside. Interment will follow in the Veterans Cemetery in Keithville. In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or the D.A.V.
