Funeral services for Stacey M. Phillips, 40, of Leesville will be held at 2
p.m. on June 28 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Bro. Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Heritage Rowe Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be
held from 5-9 p.m. on June 27, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on June 28 at the funeral home.
Stacey, the daughter of Howard Werner and Julia Drennan, was born on Nov. 12, 1971, in Indianapolis. She passed away on June 24, 2012,
at her residence in Leesville.
Stacey loved sports; she was a big LSU and Notre Dame fan. She loved to read books and spending time with friends. She loved her family, and her family was her life.
She was preceded in death by
her grandparents, James and Martha Drennan, and Frank and Gerry Werner.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Phillips of Leesville; sons, Daniel Phillips of Lake Charles and Dakota Phillips of Leesville; father, Howard Werner of Kansas;
mother, Julia and Richard Moses of West Virginia; brothers, Ryan and April Werner of Dry Prong, and Frank and Karri Werner of Jacksonville, N.C.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Scott and Pat Edwards of Temple, Texas, and Butch and Gale Phillips of
Hicks; sister-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Hunsicker of Gatesville, Texas, Angela and Keith Peters of Beechcreek, Pa., and Lea and Tim Hurst of Pearl, Miss.; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
