Robert George Buermann

Robert George Buermann of Leesville passed away at his home on June 1,
2012, with his loving wife at his side.
Robert was born on May 20, 1936, in Eatonville, Wash. to George and Sylvia Buermann. He grew up in Eatonville, graduating from high school in 1954 and enlisting in the U.S. Navy a few months
later.
Bob served in the Navy honorably and with great pride for over 21 years. He loved the Navy and enjoyed all the traveling he was able to do. He belonged to several military associations and went to ship reunions staying in touch with
old shipmates. Bob also retired from Federal Civil Service.
In 1973, while stationed at NAS Lemoore, California he met Margie. They were married in October 1974 and have had over 37 wonderful years together.
Bob is preceded in
death by both his parents and by his one son, Carl LeDoux.
He leaves to cherish many memories his wife, Margie Conner Buermann of Leesville; his daughter, son-in-law and grandson, Teresa, Jim and Dylan Balestraci of Waynesville, Mo.; his
daughter-in-law and grandson, Belle (Scott) Pearson and Christopher LeDoux of Iron River, Mich.; his adopted son and wife and grandsons, Duane, Mary, Marcus and Erik Hollers of Middleburg, Fla.; his sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Jim Bernovich
of Federal Way, Wash.; and his nephews, Jeff Bernovich of Kent Wash. and Guy Bernovich and family of Tacoma, Wash.. Also surviving him are all of Margie’s brothers and sisters and their families whom he dearly loved.
In honor of Bob’s
final wishes, his body is being cremated and there will be no public memorial services held. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the VA Cemetery at Fort Polk.
