Ruby Nash Addison Murray

Ruby Nash Addison Murray, 75, of Anacoco went to be with the Lord on May
26, 2012.
Ruby was born in Merryville on June 26, 1936, to Napoleon Nash and Alice Perkins Nash of Evans.
Ruby was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church, and was a lifelong resident of Vernon
Parish. She loved to go to flea markets, farmers markets, fishing, gardening and tending to her animals; she also enjoyed quilting and sewing. Ruby raised foster children and loved being involved with the activities in her church. She was always
willing to help someone in need. Ruby especially loved her children and grandchildren; she will be missed by all.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Addison and Johnny Murray; parents, Napoleon Nash and Alice Perkins Nash;
and brother, Nonny Nash.
Ruby is survived by her son, Ronnie Addison and wife, Pat of Anacoco; daughters, Glenda Breaux and husband, John of Burr Ferry, Alice Grevemberg and husband, Kevin of Porter, Texas, Gail Calhoun and husband,
Michael of Sulpher Springs, Texas, and Pam Janssen and husband, Todd of Norfolk, Va.; sister,
Ruthie Peters of Kirbyville, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4-10 p.m. on May 30 at
the Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church in Burr Ferry. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on May 31 at Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church in Burr Ferry. Bro. James Herrington and Bro. Eddie Tilley will be officiating. Burial will follow in Burr Ferry Cemetery in
Burr Ferry under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
