Donald Warren Dekarske

Funeral services for Donald Warren Dekarske, 75, of Alexandria will be held at 10 a.m. on May 29 at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville with Bro. D.R. Davis officiating, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home
of Leesville.
Donald, the son of Warren H. and Beatrice Palmquist Dekarske, was born June 21, 1936, in Rapids, Wis. He passed away on May 20, 2012, at his residence in Alexandria.
Don retired from the United States Army as a
first sergeant after 22 years of service. He was a resident of Anacoco for 35 years. He was a volunteer for 10 years for AARP American Legion, VFW #3106 Past Commander, NCOA and fish-n-game.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Dekarske; four
sons, Donald Dekarske of Colorado Springs, Colo, Jerry Dekarske of Anacoco, James Dekarske of Colorado Springs, Colo. and John Dekarske of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sister, Judy Goetz of Rapids, Wis.; brother, Gerald Dekarske of North Carolina; five
grandchildren of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Anacoco.
