On April 28, wrapped in the arms of her husband and children, Momma left this life and began eternity with Jesus, her Master and Savior. She was a beautiful woman on the
inside as well as out. She was born on March 3, 1942 to the parents of J.N. “Buster” Brodnax and Ola Golemon Brodnax who precede her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Brodnax. She was a loving, fun and kind spirit. She
loved to cook, tend her flowers, and definitely loved to travel this country with Spangler Tours.
On Dec. 22, 1962 she married the love of her life Jack C. Johnson. For 50 years, they have tenderly loved and taken care of each other. To
this marriage they were blessed with son, Jack Johnson, Jr. and wife Penny; daughter, Jodi Wells and husband James, and son Jamie Johnson; two sisters, Kathaleen Williamson and Clara Lewing. She has five grandchildren, Logan Wells, Caleb Johnson,
Wade Wells, Cameron and Rachael Johnson. She was a true mother and grandmother who loved and raised her family.
Pallbearers will be James Wells, Ray Brodnax, Shane Lewing, Dewayne Smith, Roger Squyres, and William Johnson. Honorary
pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
To all her friends and family, especially at Fort Polk, she loved you all greatly. Our family thanks everyone for all the prayers, loving kindness and words.
