Funeral services for Earnest
Alton “Al” Fox, 70, of Leesville will be held at 2 p.m. on April 19 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville with Bro. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral
Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-10 p.m. on April 18 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on April 19 at the church.
Earnest was born Aug. 3, 1941, in Anacoco. He passed away on April 15, 2012, in
Alexandria.
Mr. Fox worked for the Houston P.D. after retiring from IBEW Local 716.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Viola Morris, Nellie Thompson, Vera Self and Beatrice Fox.
He is survived by his wife of 26
years, Elaine M. Fox of Leesville; sons, David Fox of Leesville and Wayne Fox of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; stepdaughter, Lisa Whitehurst of Leesville; siblings, Varnie Mae Harralson of Anacoco, Vonnie Kay of Leesville, Horace Elton Fox of Pasadena, Texas
and Edith Mitchell of Leesville; grandchildren, Jacqualyn Fox, Beth Fox, Jonathan Fox, Shayna Fox, Trevor Fox, Ryan Whitehurst, Shay-Leigh Whitehurst and Marlee Whitehurst; and great-grandchildren, Jaydin Fox Linhart and Emily Fox.
