A memorial serivce honoring the life of Cathie Sue Ponder McGary, 60, of
Hornbeck was held at 5 p.m. on April 7 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many with Rev. Alan Fitts officiating.
Cathie was born on March 14, 1952 in Texarkana, Ark. She entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer on April 4, 2012
in Hornbeck.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Ponder and mother-in-law Morine McGary.
She is survived by her husband, Dick McGary; mother, Mary Fleming; stepfather, L.J. Fleming; son, Scott McGary and wife Holly
Clark; daughters, Jennifer Forrester and husband Sid Harris, Janice Berg and husband Hans, and Stacey Brandon and husband Curt; sisters, Vicky McPherson and husband Ronny, and Penny Pearce and husband Eric; brother, Steve Ponder and wife Kathy;
grandchildren, Cameron McGary, Roxanne Brandon, Jaci Chambers, Ralston Brandon, Dustin Clark, Megan Harris, Jack Harris, Chris Brandon
and a host of friends.
