Alice Pierzchalski McShane

Funeral services for Alice Pierzchalski McShane, 82, of Leesville will be
held at 10 a.m. on March 26 at Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on March 25 at the funeral home with a Rosary being held at 6 p.m.
Alice, the daughter of Alexander and Anastia Bogielczyk Pierzchalski, was born on June 23, 1929, in Chicago. She
passed away on March 21, 2012, in Leesville.
Mrs. McShane was a devoted military spouse, supporting her husband’s career and making a home for her family at home and abroad.
Mrs. McShane was a very active member of St. Michael
The Archangel Catholic Church. She was a past President of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and “Bushie” (grandmother).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Mac” McShane,
retired sergeant major; and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara McShane Stainback and husband Mike of Leesville, and Susan McShane Edwards and husband, Jeff of Leesville; son, Michael K. McShane and wife Valli of
Houston and grandchildren, Corinne Barnickel Jorgenson and husband, Adam of Austin, Texas, Justin Allan Edwards of Lake Charles, Lauren Marie Edwards of Ruston, and Erin Michael McShane of Houston.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made
to the Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church Building Fund.
