Funeral service for Oneta “Runge” Keel, 81, of Rosepine will be held at 2 p.m. on March 9 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder,with Rev. Roy Lee Johnson and Rev. Dale Keel officiating. Burial will follow in Old Cypress
Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Mrs. Keel passed away on March 6, 2012. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on March 8 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on March 9 at Labby Memorial
Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Mrs. Keel was a native of Friutville, Texas, and had lived most of her life in the Cypress Creek area near Rosepine. She was a homemaker and an active member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church and an active volunteer
with Council on Aging.
She is survived by son, Hershel E. Keel of Rosepine; three daughters, Jo Ann Mason and husband George, Janie Harrod and husband Gary, both of Rosepine, and Kathleen Wilson, of Pennsylvania; brother, Jerry Mack Runge
and wife Ann of Midway; sisters, Sue Martinez and husband Frankie of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Delores Runge of DeRidder; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Cecil E. Keel; granddaughters, Ashley
