Johnnie Tennyson 70, of Leesville passed away on Feb. 18, 2012, at the Rosepine Retirement Center in Rosepine. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Johnnie, the son of John and Mildred
Chambers Tennyson, was born on March 4, 1941, in St. Louis. Mr. Tennyson retired from Civil Service at Fort Polk. He loved doing woodwork or anything to do with his hands. He also loved to draw.
Johnnie is survived by his wife, Helen
Tennyson of Leesville; sons, Steven McQueen of Dayton, Ohio, Johnnie Tennyson of Springville, Mo. and James Tennyson of Vichy, Mo.; daughter, Judy Howard of New Llano; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
