Funeral services for Debra “Debbie” Louise Micale McWhirt, 49, of Leesville
will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 18 at East Leesville Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Keys and Rev. Les Comeaux officiating with the burial to follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home
of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Feb. 18 at the church.
Debra, the daughter of Samuel and Verla Mae Burleson Micale was born on July
17, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas. She passed away on Feb. 13, 2012, in New Orleans.
She was preceded in death by her sister Cynthia Salvatore of Cleveland Ohio.
Debra is survived by her husband of 22 years, David McWhirt;
daughters, Samantha Haymon and fiancée Kyle Marker, and Chelsea McWhirt, all of Leesville; sisters, Sandra Lewis of Leesville, Denise Waddell of DeRidder and Anne Marie Micale of Leesville; her parents, Samuel and Verla Micale, of Leesville; and her
granddaughter Aubree Marker of Leesville along with numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
