Inez J Ford

Inez J. Ford, 96, of Leesville died on Jan. 30, 2012 at the Rosepine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 2 at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville with the interment at Marlow
Cemetery in Cravens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the funeral home.
Inez was born May 3, 1915 in Pitkin, the daughter of Henry James and Della Johnson James and was the widow of Henry H. Ford. Inez was loving
homemaker as a wife and mother of three children, but also worked alongside her husband at Ford’s Cleaners, which he began in Leesville in 1929. She also worked with her son, former Police Jury President,Tommy Ford at his business, The Art of Beauty
College, for many years.
Inez was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesville, a life member of the Eastern Star, and was loved by all who knew her. She loved to travel spending time with friends and relatives and also spending hours in
her gardens, raising beautiful roses and other flowers.
Inez is survived by her three children; two daughters, Deborah J. Cloessner (James) of Magnolia, Texas and Henry Etta Norris of Fortson, Ga.; son, Thomas H. Ford (Janice) of West
Chester, Pa.; sister, Melvina Bailey (Milton) of Los Alamos, N.M.; nine grandchildren, Susan, Linda, Sharon, Jerry, Rick, Tommy, Jr., Tabatha, Scott and Steven; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren as well as many loved nieces, nephews and
other family members.
