Dalton Red Perkins

Funeral services for Dalton “Red” Perkins, 75, of Leesville will be held at
3 p.m. on Jan. 21 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Bro. Steven Netherland and Bro. Randy Boswell, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of
Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Jan. 20 and from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Jan 21 at the funeral home.
Dalton, the son of Elbert L. and Mary Helen Craft Perkins, was born on Aug. 10, 1936, in
Leesville. He passed away on Jan. 19, 2012, at his residence in Leesville. Red loved to quail hunt, horseback riding and traveling. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 1/2 years, Patsy
Sue Thompson Perkins; daughters, Reitha Sue and husband, Randy Boswell, Sr., Sharon Lou Perkins, and Sherrica Ann and husband, Ralph Littlefield, Sr.; daughter at heart, Kimberly LeFeat Kezerle; son at heart, Jerry Allen Twyman and wife, Cindy;
grandsons, Joseph “Joey” Dowden and wife Sondra, Christopher “Chris” Dowden and wife, Linda, Randolph “Randy” Boswell, Jr., and wife Judy, Chadwick “Chad” Boswell all of Leesville, and Ralph Littlefield, Jr., and wife Rebecca; granddaughter, Angela
Littlefield of Georgia; eight great-grandsons, four great-granddaughters; brothers, Jerald Wayne Perkins of Leesville and Jimmy Ray Craft of Texarkana, Texas; sisters, Ruth and husband, James Walters, Barbara and husband, Carlton DeVille of Deville;
and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
