Betty Lou Huntsman

Betty Lou Huntsman passed from this life on Jan. 4, 2012 in Jones, Okla.

Mrs. Huntsman was born on Dec. 6, 1930 in Maud, Okla. and married her husband, John, on May 1, 1948 at the Lowery Field Chapel in Denver. She traveled all over the world as a military wife while raising four children. She was a member of
Holly Grove United Methodist Church in Anacoco prior to moving to Oklahoma. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing and gardening. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Johnny L. Huntsman of
Tuttle, Okla., Linda M. Whittington of Anacoco and David L. Huntsman of Harrah, Okla.; four grandchildren, John A. Huntsman of Edmond, Okla., Cheryl L. Huntsman of Atlanta, Texas; Emily S. Schaap of Holly Springs, N.C. and Jennifer M. Murphy of
Pineville; five great-grandchildren, Ashley and Lily Murphy of Pineville, Bret Martin of Pineville, and Chaseton and Keile Schaap of Holly Springs, N.C.; and 13 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W.
Huntsman; daughter, Velma S. (Susie) Huntsman; grandson, Paul W. (Bubba) Whittington; parents, Harry Heaton and Cleo Robinson; and siblings, Mary Sue Quintana, Dee Foster, Jimmy Heaton and Charles (Sonny) Heaton.
Graveside memorial
services will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 28 at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Anacoco.
