Funeral services for Jerry Dean Richardson, of Atlanta will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 23 at Ellen Burr Baptist Church in Leesville with Pastor Derrick D. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in
Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Dec. 23 at the church.
Jerry Dean Richardson was born Nov. 27, 1958, in Leesville to
Freeman Richardson, Sr. and Helen Richardson. He was the second of seven children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vanessa Richardson.
He joined the Ellen Burr Baptist Church at an early age, and after graduating from Leesville High
School, he moved to Atlanta. Jerry was an electrician by trade, following in his dad’s footsteps.
Jerry Richardson departed this life on Dec. 18, 2011, in Atlanta.
He leaves to cherish his memories his father, Freeman
Richardson, Sr.; mother, Helen Richardson; one son, Jamar Zeno of Atlanta; one daughter, Crystal Bivens of New Orleans; one grandson, Jamar Zeno, Jr., of Atlanta; two granddaughters, Jaliyah Dennse of Atlanta and Chishawn Bivens of New Orleans; three
sisters, Paula Richardson and Tina Richardson of Garland, Texas, and Brenda Richardson of Richmond, Calif.; three brothers, George Richardson (Mabelle) of Leesville, Gary Richardson (Betty) of Atlanta and Freeman Richardson, Jr., of Leesville; one
aunt; uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
