MATTIE L. COLLINS JACKSON

Funeral services for
Mattie L. Collins Jackson, 73, of Leesville will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 17 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. (Dr.) Carl R. Armstead officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville under the
direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Dec. 17 at the church.
Mattie was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Magnolia, Ark., to the late John and Georgia
Beal. She departed this life Dec. 9, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. She joined St. Mark Baptist Church in Magnolia at an early age.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Edward Beal and Hugh Beal and two
granddaughters, Venesshia Johnson and Ulonda Cooper.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Jackson of Leesville; four daughters, Mary Cooper of Leesville, Victoria Mingo of El Dorado, Ark., Vickie (Tony) Lopez of DeRidder and LaGeasha
Samuels of Little Rock, Ark.; one goddaughter, Sharon (Jimmy) Bates of Magnolia, Ark.; three sons, Henry Johnson, Jr. of Tempa Hill, Md., Andra (Juana) Rayford of Dallas and Keenen Collins of Little Rock, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 22
great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
