James H. Bunn passed away on Nov. 15 in Lafayette.
James ran
the Rainbows End Shoe Repair in Leesville and DeRidder for over 30 years. He also ran the Lafayette Shoe Repair shop. He was an active member of the community and his church.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Ilene, of Leesville, and
Dot Bunn, of Opelike, Ala. Bunn was the mother of his three children.
He is survived by his son, Harold and Pat Bunn, of Birmingham, Ala.; daughters, Elaine and Ken Grounds of Robersdale, Ala. and Carolyn Whittington of Bay Minette, Ala.;
nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and special family friend, Matt Deck.
Services were held on Nov. 19 at the Grace Church in DeRidder and were officiated by Revs. George Glass, George Lee Glass and James Glass. Special music was
provided by the Grace Choir.
Memorials can be made to the Grace Church or to the charity of your choice.
