“Iva Lois” West, 79, of Leesville, passed away Nov. 16, 2011 in Byrd
Regional Hospital.
Mrs. West was a retired school teacher serving over 20 years, who taught home economics and English in Vernon Parish.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gail West; son, Leland Gary West and wife Andree’;
grandchildren, Amanda West Abshire and husband Jordan, Benjamin West and wife Kristin; and one great grandchild; dear friends Ray Bynog and Glynn White; and her faithful companion “Beau.”
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie
Leon Davis and Mattie Hinson Davis; grandparents, Thomas Jefferson Davis and Maggie Harrison Davis, Henry James Hinson and Lydia Perkins Hinson.
Services will be at 11a.m. Saturday Nov. 19, 2011 in the chapel of Heritage Rowe Funeral Home
with Rev. Jerry Key officiating and burial following in Hinson Cemetery Knight Community.
Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Heritage Rowe Funeral Home Leesville.
