Janis Cole Fletcher, 70, of Hornbeck, died on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at Grace Home in Shreveport.
She was born on Friday, Sept. 5, 1941 in Hornbeck in the Plainview Community.
She is preceded in death by her
parents, Lewis and Fourthie Cole and two brothers, Larry Dean Cole and Lewis “Lavell” Cole.
She is survived by her husband, Rosezell Fletcher of Hornbeck; son, DeVon Fletcher and wife Denise of Hornbeck; daughter, Shannon Nelms and husband
Bruce of Hornbeck; brother, Malcolm Cole and wife Janice of Hornbeck; grandchildren, Danee’ Cook and husband Bradly of Hornbeck, Aaron Nelms and wife Lisa of Natchitoches, Dustin Fletcher of Hornbeck, Devin Fletcher of Hornbeck, and Amanda Nelms of
Hornbeck; great grandchildren, Camryn Cook of Hornbeck, Carlyn Cook of Hornbeck, and soon to be Mason Nelms; sister-in-laws, Glenda Goss Cole of Florien, Carolyn Green Cole of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Syble Fletcher McGrew of Madison, Ala.;
brother-in-law, Jim McGrew of Madison, Ala.; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Nov. 5 at Plainview Baptist Church in Florien with Dr. Lynn Jones, Bro. Tim Leach and Bro. Buddy Airhart
officiating. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery in Florien.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 at the Plainview Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Cole, Waylon Cole, Craig Cole, Kenny
Taylor, Elton Ellzey and Pat Ellzey.
