Funeral services for Jessie Cleo Williams Bruyninckx, 73, of Anacoco, will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Scotty McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery
in Slagle under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Oct. 29, from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jessie, the daughter of Elijah and Edith Higginbotham Williams, was born on April
24, 1938, in Slagle. She passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.
Mrs. Jessie was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a homemaker. She loved fishing, so living next door to the Vernon Lake made it easy for her.
Left to
cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, James Marvin Bruyninckx of Anacoco; daughters, Faye Bruyninckx and David of Cotile Lake, and Terry McDowell and Scott of Jena; son, Frank Bruyninckx of Alexandria; step-son, James Bruyninckx and Karen
of Colombia; nine grandkids; 10 great grandkids; brother, Jerry Dale Williams of Kurthwood; and sister, Pearl Burce of Lumberton, Texas.
