Funeral services for Wesley Dewayne Brown, 73, of LaCamp will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in LaCamp with the Revs. Dale Poe, Shawn Waggoner and Scott Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove
Cemetery in LaCamp under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Oct. 22, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Wesley, the son of Leon and Tressie Jeter Brown, was
born on Nov. 5, 1937, in Leesville. He passed away on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Brown.
He is survived by his sons, Micheal Leon Brown of
Channelview, Texas, Robert Dean Brown of LaCamp, Marlon Dewayne Brown and Bryan Keith Brown both of Crosby, Texas; brother, Donald Lee and Lilly Brown of LaCamp; grandchildren, Emily Hill, Brianna Brown, Blake Brown and Zachery Brown; great
grandchild, Brennan Hill; a host of nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews. He is also survived by the family of his second wife, Vivian Brown, who also preceded him in death.
