Visitation for Louis Edward Ross, 88, of Leesville will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Oct. 16, at
Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. A private burial service will be held at a later date in Arkansas.
Louis, the son of Michael and Mary Panfil Ross was born on Oct. 13, 1923, in New Kensington, Pa. He passed away on Friday, Oct.
14, 2011, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Mr. Ross retired from the United States Air Force after 30 years of service. He worked as a diesel mechanic at various locations in Arkansas before retiring to Louisiana in 1997.
He was
preceded in death by his wife, Maycel Ross.
He is survived by his sons, Michael Ross and wife Rebecca of Scottsboro, Ala., and Carl B. Ross of Cabot, Ark.; daughters, Sharmyn Kay Weatherford and husband Billy of Leesville, and Cheryl
Landrum and husband Troy of Willspoint, Texas; sister, Amelia Rose Runski of Penn; grandchildren, Amanda Offutt-Ochoa, Heather Turney and Tory Landrum, and three great grandchildren.
