Stasia Cabra, 93, of Shreveport, passed away in Shreveport on Sept. 27,
2011. Stasia played the piano for Hornbeck Senior Adults in Shreveport. She also was a Sunday school teacher and taught Bible class at the Senior Center in Hornbeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Robert Lane
Cabra.
Stasia will be deeply missed and loved by her family and friends.
Stasia was survived by her sons, Donald Lane Cabra and wife, Brenda of Chapin, S.C., Dwight Stephen Cabra and wife, Sherry of Cody, Wyo.; daughter, Sharon
Everett of Shreveport; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sept. 29 from 5-8 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville. Funeral service will be Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial
will follow at Beckom Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville. Rev. Andy Harris and Barney Cabra will be officiating.
