Rudolph Jeter

Funeral services for Rudolph Jeter, 87, of Leesville will be held at 10
a.m. Sept. 28 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andy Addison officiating. Burial will follow in the Plunkaway Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5-10
p.m. on Sept. 27 at the funeral home.
Mr. Jeter was retired from the Vernon Parish School System and was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII. He was employed for many years with the Kelly Weber company as a driver and salesman.
Bro. Rudolph was a long-term member of the White Park Church of Christ where he directed the congregational singing for many services. He loved trail riding and spending time watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a man who loved people and
never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joy Faye Jeter of Leesville; one son, Edgar Jeter of Leesville; four daughters: Brenda Jeter Jeane of Leesville, Martha Sue Jeter Garcia of Spring, Texas, Rhonda Jeter Rollins
of Magnolia, Texas, and Lori Lee Jeter Smith of Leesville; three sisters: Wanda Faye Hughes, Geraldine Beisel and Bonnie Rose Myres; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
