Funeral services for James “J.W.” Sanders will be held on Sept. 23, in the Chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville at 10 a.m. Burial will follow with Military Honors in the Castor Cemetery of Leesville.
Visitation
will be Sept. 22, 2011, at 5-9 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanders, 79, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at his residence. He was a native of Arkansas but grew up in South Carolina. He served in the United States Army
for 20 years and had lived in the Leesville area for over 32 yrs. He was a Vietnam veteran, member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veteran Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Duke Sanders
of Leesville; daughters, Debra Christenson of Leesville, and Gail Humphries and husband Sean of Leesville; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Jacob Christenson.
